They are trying hard to change their image to a more respectable high street brand as the controversial FCUK brand whilst still with us is not as publicised.

French Connection is a well established brand that goes back as far as 1972, but has come to the fore in the nighties and the noughties.

Notably in 1997 when the advertising campaign of “FCUK Fashion” controversially burst into our lives, bizarrely, the initials FCUK before this enjoyed life as a mere fax header between the companies offices in London and Hong Kong (FCHK).

French Connection prides itself on it’s slightly edgy fashion at affordable prices, and has a big presence on the UK’s high streets.

The brand has recently expanded into Men’s and Women’s Toiletries, optical and shoes
