New England Kit, C’mon Ladies!

Now I know that some of you ladies are football widow’s, but with a world cup qualifier against Ukraine on Wednesday and the big world cup finals in South Africa in 2010 and wonderful summer of football, I just know you love to support your national teams.

Last Saturday, the New England Kit was unveiled for the first time, and according to the press coverage it was a huge success.

The slogan for the new kit was “tailored for England”, it is manufactured by Umbro, The designer said the that he wanted to hark back to the world cup win in ’66 as his inspiration, but at the same time have a new beginning, a little mix the old with the new.

It certainly did England no harm with a 4-0 thumping win at Wembley, however, it’s Wednesday that counts, so come on IN-GER-LAND!

However Saturday, even though a friendly was certainly a momentous occasion, with John Terry picking up his 50th cap of his England career, and David Beckham setting a new record for most capped out field player in the history of the England National side with 110 caps! Well Done David.
