If you watch How to Look Good Naked with Gok Wan on a Tuesday evening, Channel 4 you will see Gok suggest some wonderful pieces for you to indulge.
This week we saw Gok on his crusade for women to be comfortable in their own skin, and embarked upon helping 27 year old air hostess Claire from Sussex to get over her paranoia about the way she looks despite having a partner who adores her.
Goks featured some great women’s dresses this week, especially from Dorothy Perkins, and we’ve been thinking that they really upped their game for AW09, so we thought if you hadn’t seen this weeks episode you might be interested in seeing some of his recommendations.

Well congratulations you’ve got the classic hour glass figure, you just have to work it to its best advantage.
You can smoulder in male company, and be the envy of your girlfriends.
Just remember to keep your dresses, jeans or trousers dark and you’ll drop a size, on jeans choose back pockets that are big making your bum look smaller.
Wearing a “v” neck shows off your “natural assets” in a way that is classy, with a hint of sexiness but not too much that it looks cheap, where as a fitted waist coat emphasizes your waste to show off that hour glass figure to its full.
Height is always an advantage, so go for the highest heel you are comfortable with, and that will perk your bum and add slenderness to your body profile especially in a dress.
Try long hanging earrings and pull your hair from around your ears, try a pony tail? it will emphasize your shoulders and focus attention to your face.
