Striking Women’s Dresses For The World Cup

This Friday the FIFA World Cup will officially kick off in South Africa. Even if you are not usually a big fan of football, it is difficult to not get wrapped up in the excitement about one of worlds biggest sporting events. Whilst in the past, most people have supported the England team by wearing the England Football strip or painting their faces with a George Cross, this year women’s dresses in red and white offer a stylish but equally patriotic option. The statement from the Offices of Alexander McQueen who uses McQueens Christian name Lee, read:“On behalf of Lee McQueen’s family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home.

“At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee’s family.

“Lee’s family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this.”
